Earlier this year CW announced that they had ordered a pilot for Riverdale, a drama television series based on the characters by Archie Comics. The show stars KJ Apa (Archie Andrews), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones), Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom), Ashleigh Murray (Josie McCoy) and Luke Perry (Fred Andrews), and the executive producer is Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa all of whom participated in the roundtable interviews at San Diego Comic-Con.
