Good evening, everyone! Today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong. So, let’s get started, shall we?! I predicted that the Bucs would beat the Falcons 31-20, but the final score was 21-15 Bucs over the Falcons. I predicted that the Bills would beat the Steelers 41-24, but the final score was 38-3 Bills over the Steelers in a blowout. The Steelers offense did not score a single touchdown. I predicted that the Vikings would beat the Bears 30-27, but the final score was 29-22 Vikings over the Bears. I predicted that the Titans would beat the Commanders 35-24, but the final score was 21-17 Titans over the Commanders. I predicted that the 49ers would beat the Panthers 33-16, but the final score was 37-15 49ers over the Panthers. I predicted that the Eagles would beat the Cardinals 33-26, but the final score was 20-17 Eagles over the Cardinals in a close game. The Cardinals kicker Matt Amendola missed a key field goal which it would have put the Cardinals into overtime. He had to replace Matt Prater. The Cardinals offense again did not score in the first quarter. They were down 14-0, but they came back to make it 14-10. The Cardinals defense in the second half just held the Eagles offense to field goals and did not give up a touchdown pass. The only touchdown that the Eagles got was the Jalen Hurts sneak plays. They held the Eagles offense under 400 yards and that is an improvement. Now, if the Cardinals scored in the first half when Hollywood Brown was on the run, it would have been a different ball game. So, the Cardinals are still winless at home. I predicted that the Cowboys would beat the Rams 24-17, but the final score was 22-10 Cowboys over the Rams. I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Raiders 38-31, but the final score was 30-29 Chiefs over the Raiders in a very close game. The Chiefs came back from being down 17-0. Travis Kelce had 3 touchdown passes and the reason that the Chiefs tight end got his third touchdown because the Raiders got a penalty which is holding on a field goal attempt which the Chiefs kicker missed it. The Chiefs caught a big break there. The other call was that roughing the kicker call towards the end of the first half which it allowed the Raiders to go down the field and kick the field goal and the Chiefs fans were absolutely furious at that call. It was just a bad call to be honest. The Raiders two wide receivers collided each other which they both fell down. Someone has to move out the way. If they did, the Raiders would have won the game. It was winnable.
I predicted that the Packers would beat the Giants 36-23, but the final score was 27-22 Giants over the Packers. I predicted that the Browns would beat the Chargers 38-28, but the final score was 30-28 Chargers over the Browns. The Browns blew an opportunity to win the game. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Saints 27-23, but the final score was 39-32 Saints over the Seahawks. I predicted that the Bengals would beat the Ravens 30-24, but the final score was 19-17 Ravens over the Bengals in a close game. The Ravens went down the field to kick a game winning field goal.
So overall, I got 8 out of 12 picks correct! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 6 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Bengals @Saints game. I think the Saints will beat the Bengals 27-24. The next game I will predict is the Ravens @Giants game. I think the Ravens will beat the Giants 31-28. The next game I will predict is the Jags @Colts game, the divisional rivalries. I actually think the Jaguars will beat the Colts 23-20. The next game I will predict is the Vikings @Dolphins game. I think the Dolphins will beat the Vikings 35-31 in a close game. The next game I will predict is the Patriots @Browns game. I think the Browns will beat the Patriots 34-27. The next game I will predict is the Jets @Packers game. I think the Packers will beat the Jets in a close game 30-27. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Falcons game. I think the 49ers will beat the Falcons 25-16. The next game I will predict is the Buccaneers @Steelers game. I think the Bucs will beat the Steelers 41-20.
The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Seahawks game, the divisional rivalries. Both of these teams are coming off with the loss. The Cardinals will be without their running backs Darrell Williams and James Conner and Eno Benjamin will be getting involved in the offense. The Seahawks might be without their running back Rashad Penny as well. Geno Smith, the Seahawks quarterback has been playing really good so far. The Cardinals have done pretty well stopping some of the best offenses so far. The Seahawks defense has allowed big plays and touchdown drives in the first quarter. Speaking of the first quarter, the Cardinals have to score points in the first quarter and take advantage of the Seahawks weakness on defense. The Cardinals also cannot play from behind against the Seahawks because if they do, they will probably lose again. The Cardinals will have one more game tomorrow until week 7 to when D-Hop will finally come back against the Saints. They are 2-0 on the road this season. Who will win tomorrow? I do think the Cardinals can beat the Seahawks 26-17 because they have a good record up in Seattle. This game is a must win situation for the Cardinals. The next game I will predict is the Panthers @Rams game. I think the Rams will beat the Panthers 38-19. The next game I will predict is the Bills @Chiefs game. I think that this game is going to be a shootout. I think the Bills will beat the Chiefs in a close game 38-35. The next game I will predict is the Cowboys @Eagles game, the divisional rivalries on Sunday Night Football. I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles 29-26 in a very close game. The last game I will predict is the Broncos @Chargers game, the divisional rivalries on Monday Night Football. I think the Chargers will beat the Broncos 24-21 in a close game.
