2023 NFL Draft Day!

Good evening, everyone! Today I want to discuss about the NFL Draft tomorrow! So, let’s get started, shall we?! So, this year’s NFL Draft will be held tomorrow through Saturday just like every year, but this year, the location that the Draft will be in is the Union Station, Kansas City, Missouri. The first one will be held at 5pm ET, Friday at 4PM ET, and Saturday at 9am ET.

Now, let’s talk about some of the information I have been hearing in terms of some teams trying to trade up to get a quarterback. So, here is the list of the team’s draft picks:

1. Carolina Panthers

2. Houston Texans

3. Arizona Cardinals

4. Indianapolis Colts

5. Seattle Seahawks

6. Detroit Lions

7. Las Vegas Raiders

8. Atlanta Falcons

9. Chicago Bears

10. Philadelphia Eagles

11. Tennessee Titans

12. Houston Texans (again)

13. New York Jets

14. New England Patriots

15. Green Bay Packers

16. Washington Commanders

17. Pittsburg Steelers

18. Detroit Lions (again)

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

20. Seattle Seahawks (again)

21. Los Angles Chargers

22. Baltimore Ravens

23. Minnesota Vikings

24. Jacksonville Jaguars

25. New York Giants

26. Dallas Cowboys

27. Buffalo Bills

28. Cincinnati Bengals

29. New Orleans Saints

30. Philadelphia Eagles (again)

31. Kansas City Chiefs

The only teams with no first-round picks are the Los Angles Rams, Cleveland Browns, and the Denver Broncos. Alright, now I have been hearing that some teams want to trade up in front of the Colts and the Arizona Cardinals have been receiving a lot of calls which leads to possibly trading back from the 3rd overall pick. The Panthers now have the number one overall pick after they trade their last pick to the Bears and their formal wide receiver DJ Moore to Chicago as well.  I think the Carolina Panthers are going to possibly draft Bryce Young, the quarterback from Alabama and the Houston Texans drafting Will Anderson. It looked like everyone was saying that the Texans might draft CJ Strout as they need a quarterback, but everyone is now saying that they might pass on the quarterback. I will be surprised if they do pass on CJ Strout. The Seahawks meanwhile might actually draft Jalen Carter, a defensive lineman from Georgia.

This guy is the one who was sentenced to probation in crash that killed a teammate and team staffer. Carter was then sentenced to 12 months of probation, a $1,000 fine and 50 hours of community service and completion of a state-approved defensive driving course, the attorney said. Carter’s teammate Devin Willock and football team staff member Chandler LeCroy were killed in the January 15 crash, which happened hours after the team participated in a parade through campus to celebrate its second consecutive national title. Carter turned himself in at the Athens-Clarke County Jail earlier this month on charges of reckless driving and racing. Not that kind of person you want to draft to your team, but he is still expected to be in the top 15 overall pick.

I think the Cardinals will trade back and get more picks in this year’s draft as they need to rebuild their defense and offense. I have heard a lot of Cardinals fans say that they want this team to draft an edge rusher Will Anderson from Alabama. Who knows, they may not get him and it would make the Cards fans unhappy. And I also heard the news which is not known to be true that the Cardinals might actually draft an offensive lineman Paris Johnson JR instead of getting their defensive lineman. It is interesting because that’s what the quarterback of the Cardinals Kyler Murray wants the team to draft. He is a big fan of Paris Johnson and thinks that he can help protect him a lot better. However, some Cardinal fans may not like the selection of him. But at least the offensive lineman is a need as well. If they don’t get Will Anderson, I will be okay with it as long as they think that they get a really good player.  I say the Cardinals will either draft Will Anderson, Paris Johnson JR, Nolan Smith, or an edge rusher from Georgia.

This is going to be an interesting NFL Draft! So, what are your thoughts about the NFL Draft?! What do you guys’ think is going to happen?! I would love to hear your comments down below!

Stay tuned for NFL updates.
