While I was at Phoenix Comicon, I got the chance to sit down and talk to Paul Scanlan, the Co-Founder of Legion M about their company and their direction.
Legion M is the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company, and has partnered with some fairly well known production and entertainment companies such as Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (the studio that was co-founded by Seth Green and is home to Robot Chicken, SuperMansion and a lot of other productions), Meltdown Comics (one of the largest and most well known comic book stores, as well as being home to Comedy Central’s The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, as well as frequently hosts live shows and podcasting events with Nerdist). They also recently announced they would be partnering with Alamo Drafthouse whose film distribution arm, Drafthouse Films, has been developing and distributing independent genre films since 2010.
