Last year they opened a store a few minutes walk from the San Diego Convention Center at 701 8th Ave  San Diego, CA 92101 where they re-introduced the classic M.U.S.C.L.E. figures with a line of characters from Masters of the Universe. In the past year they also announced their second partnership with Funko (first being the ReAction line) which saw them release the Super Shogun Boba Fett and a Super Shogun Shadow Trooper.

Skeletor will once again take over Super7 San Diego as his lair, but his diabolical plans remain a mystery! Perhaps he will use the space to plan his evil agenda for the week.. or perhaps he will release some amazing He-Man and Masters of the Universe San Diego Comic-Con exclusives!

Warning: It will be no small task to gain access to Skeletor’s Lair! One must venture to the Super7 Booth #4945 and obtain a Power Token. You will then take this coin to 701 8th Avenue (corner of G Street) and present it to gain entry into the Skeletor’s Lair Pop-Up Shop (Yes, you will keep your token!).

They also posted this YouTube clip today…wonder what it could be for?

Update 7/5/16

SDCC_2016_ALIEN_WARRIOR

Today Super7 announced an exclusive for Comic-Con, they are going to be selling an 18-inch Super Size Alien Warrior Prototype from the 1986 sequel ALIENS!

The packaging is a prototype package, modeled after the Alien ReAction Figures 2-Pack from 2013. The package is meant to be a mock-up, with hand-written notes about what is approved, needs to be changed, or filled in during the production process.

The Alien Warrior measures 18-inches and matches the features of the original 1979 Kenner Alien. It is articulated at the hips, shoulders, wrists, and tail, and has the same spring-loaded jaw mechanism to release the horrifying inner jaws, operated with a trigger on the back of the head. The figure can also hang from its tail just like the original.

Update 7/6
