What is ADMANTIUM?

Ever wonder what they teach at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters?

Reading the X-Men comic books and watching Saturday morning cartoons, I realized at a young age that Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters was pretty much the only boarding school I ever wanted to attend.  In pop culture, boarding school conjures up images of rich kids whose parents don’t care or delinquent juveniles sent for “tough love”.  Essentially, it’s a depressing place to be.  Unless you are a mutant with super powers; then boarding school is pretty awesome!  Heck, if I had super powers I’d spend the summers at Xavier’s too!

I’m sure they have cool classes like ice sculpting with Iceman or dodge ball with Night Crawler.  But what about the more traditional subjects?  Can you imagine taking chemistry with Beast or learning about geography and weather patterns with a demo from Storm?  Even the curriculum would be crazy.  Students would learn about Sentinel robotics and mechanical engineering, physics principals of Banshee’s scream, or properties of adamantium.  School would be a very different experience!

So, I ran with that and created a presentation I would expect to see at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.  It’s all about adamantium and something I think students would see in an intro science class.  Also, I feel like it’s a handy presentation for creating more comic book nerds in the world!  Enjoy and leave your comments!  What classes would you want to take?
