Hi everyone! I have some interesting updates at both Disney World and at Disneyland. At Disney World, a Florida man brought an AR-15 rifle magazine with 90 rounds to Disney World hotel to protect his family, which is kind if strange for him to do because you don’t normally see someone bring a rifle to Disney parks.
The Cinderella Castle bathed in Lakers colors after they won the NBA title for the first time in decades. Also, A Lakers player Anthony Davis won’t go back to Disney World for at least two years following time in NBA bubble.
Disney World reservations are now available through the end of 2021. The reservations have been released through September 26, 2021. The Disney Park Pass calendar has now been extended through January 2022.
Disney World is now unveiling a license plate to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Disney World is also asking guests to reschedule their trips to go there if they are not wearing their masks properly at all times. To me this is really smart of what Disney World is doing because it helps stop the spread and keeps other people from getting affected by the coronavirus. “Good Job Disney World for doing your job!”
Over at Disneyland, A California Governor Gavin Newsom has sent a team to Disney World to inspect reopening protocols for Disneyland as they continue to have “Good Faith” in reopening. Disneyland has reached return to work agreements with the employee unions.
Disneyland workers are rallying outside of Disneyland in Anaheim and they are pushing for reopening. Disneyland is facing a $2 billion revenue loss during the coronavirus closure and they are also facing the backlog of refund requests for Disney Annual Passes where they are asking for refunds.
Disney launches a new Aulani Mobile App. The new app will enable guests to these 4 things:
- Manage reservation details
- Access online check-in Service
- Explore activities on the “Daily 1wa”
- Find places of interest on the map.
