So last week, I got some of the predictions right and some of them wrong. For instance, I predicted that the Buccaneers would win over the Packers 27-24, but the actual score was 38-10 Buccaneers over the Packers and it was not a close game. The Bucs defense absolutely dominated the Packers offense that has been really good for the most part of their season until now. I predicted that the Cardinals would win over the Cowboys 42-24, but the actual score was 38-10 Cardinals over the Cowboys. The Cardinals offense and defense absolutely dominated the Cowboy’s offense and defense without having defensive end Chandler Jones for the Cardinals.
I predicted that the Rams would win over the 49ers 40-31, but the actual score was 24-16 49ers over the Rams. The Rams did not look good on offense as their defense struggled to get off the field for the most part, especially on 3rd down. I predicted that the Bills would win over the Chiefs 35-28, but the actual score was 26-17 Chiefs over the Bills. The Bills could not stop the running game of the Chiefs as the Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire ran all over them for 161 yards rushing for 26 carries. So, I got 2 out of 4 picks correct according to my last blog I wrote.
Meanwhile, there were some of the big trades that some teams made before the trade deadline on November 3, the day that the Presidential Election happens. The Chiefs have signed former Jets running back Le’Veon Bell to a 1-year deal. The Buccaneers have signed wide receiver Antonio Brown who has been suspended for the most of the season and that gives the Bucs offense more boost and makes them look even more dangerous than ever. The Baltimore Ravens have traded for Minnesota Vikings pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue, adding a critical component to the NFL’s stingiest defense. The Ravens will send a 2021 third-round pick and a 2022 conditional fifth-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings. The Arizona Cardinals have traded their 2021 6th round pick to the New York Giants for defensive end Markus Golden. I think that is a good trade for the Cardinals because they want to win now and that is a good way to replace Chandler Jones for the season. It would be so scary if the Cardinals can keep Markus Golden and Chandler Jones comes back for next year’s season, Watch out! The Cardinals defense will be so dangerous and will scare a lot of opponents who might play them next year.
Now let’s move on to Week 7 picks, shall we? The first game I will predict is the Packers @Texans game. I think the Packers will bounce back from the bad loss last week 41-23 over the Texans. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Patriots game. I actually think that the Patriots can win over the 49ers 24-16. The 49ers defense has been struggling lately in some games. The next game I will predict is the Buccaneers @Raiders game which has been moved up to the afternoon game and it was set to play on Sunday night football game due to the coronavirus concerns. I think that the Bucs will come out on top 37-22 over the Raiders as the offense and defense will dominate the Raiders game plan. The next game I will predict is the Chiefs @Broncos game. I just think the Chiefs will win 44-21 over the Broncos. The Broncos somehow won the game with only kicking field goals, but it just won’t happen in this game to beat the Chiefs. The next game I will predict is the Seahawks @Cardinals game on Sunday night football. One of the best NFC West divisional rivalries in the National Football League. This should be a good game at State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals have caught a break because a safety for the Seahawks Jamal Adams has been ruled out for the game. The Seahawks defense has giving up some big plays in every game so far because there has been not much pass rush from them. I really think that the Cardinals can win over the Seahawks in a close game 27-22. I think the Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray can pick the defense apart meaning he will just light them up all game long as long as the Cardinals don’t let Russell Wilson score a game-winning drive again like he did against the Vikings with wide receiver DK Metcalf. The last game I will predict is the Bears @Rams game on Monday night football. The Bears defense has been playing really good so far this season and the Rams are coming off with a brutal loss to the 49ers. I do think that the Rams will come out on top 19-13 over the Bears. The Bears defense will keep the game close, but the Rams quarterback Jared Goff and their defense will do just enough to get the Rams back on track.
So, what do you guys think about these NFL predictions?!
