So last week, I got some of the picks correct and some of them wrong. For instance, I predicted that the Saints would beat the Vikings 27-20, but the actual score was 52-33 Saints over the Vikings. Saints running back Alvin Kamara had 6 rushing touchdowns as he just ran all over the Vikings defense! I predicted that the Bucs would beat the Lions 34-24, but the actual score was 47-7 Buccaneers over the Lions in a blowout. I predicted that the Dolphins would beat the Raiders 35-10, but the actual score was 26-25 Dolphins barely over the Raiders. That game was so close and the Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders kicked a game-winning field goal to put the Raiders away with the field goal attempt. I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Giants 46-13, but the actual score was 27-13 Ravens over the Giants. I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Falcons easily 42-19, but the actual score was really close surprisingly. The Chiefs beat the Falcons in a close game 17-14. I predicted that the Bears would beat the Jags 30-17, but the actual score was not that close. The score was 41-17 Bears over the Jags. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Rams 30-27, but the actual score was 20-9 Seahawks over the Rams. I predicted that the Bills would destroy the Patriots 35-13, but the actual score was 38-9 Bills over the Patriots in a big blowout win.
I predicted that the Cardinals would beat the 49ers 34-23, but the actual score surprisingly was 20-12 49ers over the Cardinals! The Cardinals only scored 1 touchdown and that was the running back Kenyan Drake 1-yard touchdown run. Boy! The Cardinals did not see this loss coming and it may have come at a bad time because they are trying to get into the playoffs for the first time since 2015. The Cardinals defense could not stop the run of the 49ers and that was part of the reason of why the Cardinals lost. The Cardinals have to find a way to get better quickly because time is running out for them and they need to win tomorrow to clinch their playoff berth. I predicted that the Browns would beat the Jets 38-13 to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the actual score also surprisingly was 23-16 Jets over the Browns! The Jets have won 2 games in a row and they may have missed their chance of getting the quarterback out of Clemson Trevor Lawrence as the Jaguars have clinched the number one overall draft pick in this year’s NFL draft. I predicted that the Colts would actually beat the Steelers 36-29, but the actual score was 28-24 Steelers over the Colts. The Steelers came back from being down 24-7 and scored 21 unanswered points in most of the second half. I predicted that the Washington Football Team would beat the Panthers 26-19, but the actual score was 20-13 Panthers over the Football Team. I predicted that the Eagles would beat the Cowboys 28-21, but the actual score was 37-17 Cowboys over the Eagles. I predicted that the Titans would beat the Packers 39-33, but the actual score was not that close at all. The score was 40-14 Packers over the Titans. I got 8 out of 14 picks correct!
Now let’s move on to the last week of the season which is week 17, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Falcons @Bucs game. I think the Buccaneers will finish off the season with a win over the Falcons 31-21. The next game I will predict is the Dolphins @Bills game. I think the Bills will take care of business with a win over the Dolphins in a close game 38-24. The next game I will predict is the Steelers @Browns game. I actually think the Browns might win this game over the Steelers 32-25 because the Steelers will be resting their players to be prepared for the playoffs. The next game I will predict is the Cowboys @Giants game. I think the Cowboys can take down the Giants in a crucial win 38-23. The next game I will predict is the Ravens @Bengals game. The Ravens need to win this game and I think they will do just that to try to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Bengals 40-26. The next game I will predict is the Jags @Colts game. I think the Colts will beat the Jags 24-7. The next game I will predict is the Titans @Texans game. I think the Titans will beat the Texans 31-17. The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Rams game. A big game to watch for tomorrow. The Cardinals must win this game tomorrow in order the clinch their playoff berth for the first time since 2015. This is a win- or go home situation right now. The Rams are a little banged up right now as their quarterback Jared Goff will be out, defensive end Michael Brockers will be out, their big offensive wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be out and that is a big loss for the Rams offense. The Cardinals must take advantage of one of the Rams starters being out. The Rams quarterback John Worley will be getting his first start. He has never taken the snap in his career. The Rams head coach Sean McVay is 7-0 against the Cardinals and the Cardinals need to snap that losing streak right now. If the Cardinals don’t win tomorrow, I would say the Cardinals either need to fire Cliff Kingsbury a head coach or find an offensive coordinator. So, he knows that everything is at stake: You win and you are in the playoffs, no matter if the Bears win or lose. Also, the Cardinals cannot get too many penalties when they always have to play behind the sticks and the Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray needs to step up in the pocket and throw the ball deep down the field more especially if he sees the blitz coming. He just cannot take so many sacks. The Cardinals cannot play from behind, they have to get off to a really good start to make John Worley have to throw the ball a lot and let them get away from the running game and the Cardinals have to stop the run of the Rams offense because they are going to be running the ball a lot and they are going to be using the bootlegs a lot and some wide receiver handoffs. The Cardinals just need to be ready for all the things the Rams will do and put some pressure on the backup quarterback to make him feel uncomfortable. With that being said, I am going to predict the Cardinals will beat the Rams in a must win situation 27-20.
The next game I will predict is the Saints @Panthers game. I think the Saints will beat the Panthers 35-17. The next game I will predict is the Packers @Bears game. I think the Bears will be knocked out of the playoffs with a loss to the Packers 39-20 and that puts the Rams in the playoffs. The next game I will predict is the Chargers @Chiefs game. I actually think the Chargers would beat the Chiefs 41-10 because the Chiefs will be resting their starting players for the playoffs. The next game I will predict is the Seahawks @49ers game. I think the Seahawks will beat the 49ers 32-15. The last game of the season I will predict is the Washington Team @Eagles game on Sunday Night Football. I think the Eagles will beat the Football Team in a close game 32-29.
