With that phenomenal premiere last week, what is in store for us in episode 2 airing September 29, “The Kindred”?
Warning: some spoilers ahead! Here are a few things we know so far:
- We see Frank Irving!
Mysteriously absent from the premiere episode last week was former Captain Frank Irving (Orlando Jones). In this upcoming episode, Abbie pays him a visit to find out where he hid the head of the horseman. The answer he gives her has its merits. It will be interesting to see how his case is going, as well as if he encounters Moloch at all while in jail.
- We find out why the episode is titled “The Kindred”?
Let’s just say that it also involves Benjamin Franklin and a dead body. Jenny discovers the significance in Benjamin’s books. We also get an appearance by Katrina’s coven again. Will this help Ichabod and Abbie in their war against Henry Parrish?
- Abbie and Ichabod cooking up a spell
Since Parrish has his own Horseman and Abraham is running around, why can’t Abbie and Ichabod have their own soldier to control? Benjamin’s findings on the “Kindred” may hold a clue. With a battle scene involving three Horseman, looks like they succeeded. Hmmm.
- We meet the new Sheriff Leena Vasquez Reyes (Sakina Jaffrey)
Taking over deceased Sherrif Corbin’s position, Sheriff Reyes is bringing some changes. According to a clip we saw, this includes bringing sanity back. Something tells me that’s going to be easier said than done. We also find out that she shares a past with Abbie and Jenny.
As a special bonus the clip below was premiered at San Diego Comic-Con International earlier this year where Ichabod is at a bank reaming one of the employees that tries to get him to sign up for a credit card. I love his commentary on the modern world!
Who is excited for the next episode of Sleepy Hollow? Be sure to leave a comment.
